The architect Tom Jackson artfully sculpted the course from a tropical environment. The layout is tastefully hallmarked by towering native live oaks that frame holes number five and eighteen and hole eleven is framed by beautiful magnolia trees. Lush, but narrow fairways are framed by rolling mounds, native marsh and wetlands, and more than 50 bunkers. The course meanders through coastal marshland and natural lagoons with marsh views.
