Edisto Beach Golf Club
"At the end of the course, massive live oaks are strung with Spanish
Moss swaying gently in the sea breeze."
The Edisto Beach Golf Club is a masterpiece that will challenge
golfers of all levels with its breathtaking beauty, exceptional service,
superior course conditions and three sets of tees. The architect Tom Jackson
artfully sculpted the course from a tropical environment. The layout is
tastefully hallmarked by towering native live oaks that frame holes number five
and eighteen and hole eleven is framed by beautiful magnolia trees. Lush, but
narrow fairways are framed by rolling mounds, native marsh and wetlands, and
more than 50 bunkers. The course meanders through coastal marshland and natural
lagoons with marsh views. A truly unique experience, the Edisto Beach Golf
course is, from a player's standpoint, refreshingly new and great fun to play
for all skill levels.
Well-placed tee shots and approaches are requisite to good
scoring. Those looking for a real challenge can move to the back tees and find a
very fair, but a stern test of golf. The importance of tee shot placement cannot
be overlooked. The growth of our dense Bermuda grass rough throughout the
summer, combined with tight fairways leaves little opportunity for recovery
after a wayward tee shot. You'll admire the incredible beauty of Edisto. The 18
championship holes exist in harmony with flowing salt water, moss-draped live
oaks, lofty pines, and palmetto trees. The scenic lay of the land is not all you
will capture. The sensation of catching a glimpse of a graceful deer, or
alligator will take your breath away. The mood at Edisto is so tranquil and the
atmosphere so serene that you will marvel at the conversation between the
inhabitant birds and the echoing breeze as it travels from the ocean.
Experiencing Edisto is more than just playing a round of golf, it is
revitalization to the senses. Attention to detail is noticeable from tee to
green.
The Edisto beach golf club Pro Shop features all of the necessary
elements to make your golfing experience special, for those of you who are from
out-of-town our staff will help you choose the perfect souvenir to make your
round memorable. The Heron House Restaurant and 19th hole has a warm and
inviting atmosphere, very comfortable for relaxing after your round. The snack

Your visits to will truly be memorable in many ways. Whether it's the cooling
