San Diego is California’s second largest city along 70 miles of beaches and a gentle Mediterranean climate. Bordered by Mexico, the Pacific Ocean, the Anza-Borrego Desert and the Laguna Mountains. San Diego County consists of 4,200 square miles. San Diego leads the nation in biomedical, high-tech and telecommunication industries.

San Diego also contains one of the nations largest cultural complexes, Balboa park with 1,200-acres, and has the largest concentration of museums west of Mississippi.
