Beaufort is a beautiful and Historic City. We have lived in the Beaufort area for over 10 years and have loved every minute. Nearby Fripp Island and Hunting Island offer gorgeous beaches and natural parks. About an hour south are Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. About an hour north are Charleston, South Carolina and Kiawah Island, South Carolina. What a perfect location for sight seeing and enjoying the Low Country

There is plenty to do in Beaufort. Bay Street offers a quaint and active shopping area as you walk along the Waterfront (pictured above) and past Historic Inns. As you stroll along Horse and Carriage Tours pass you by telling visitors of Beaufort's important role in history.
